In the garden in 1995 Slovak feature film in cooperation with the French program of international and Czech InFilm Prague Director Martin Sulik. The film-a poetic Tale of Jakub, man in his early 30-ies. It reflects the attitudes and desires of Jakub in the idyllic setting of his grandfathers garden. 1. The plot. (Сюжет)

Jakob is a dreamer in his early 30s and still lives with his father. Father is tired from Jakubs sloth and throws him out of the apartment. He tells Jakub to sell the old garden of his grandfather and to buy his flat. Jakub goes to the abandoned garden away worn garden house from the world and from his problems. The garden turns out to be a magical place, full of surprises and mysteries. Jakub stumbles upon the diary of his grandfather, which is written in reverse script. He finds a map leading him to an old bottle of plum brandy hidden years ago. Now curious Jakub must solve the mysteries of his grandfathers garden. He meets Helena, a young girl Jakubs grandfather taught and write backwards. Strange things happen in the garden, and some of them do look like miracles. Amid the eccentric events, young Helena teaches Jakub to appreciate the delicate mysteries of life. In the end, Jakub loses all his property, but finds his peace.
