Marina Madia is a type of flowering plant in the family Asteraceae known under the common name plumpseeded Madia. It is endemic to Northern California, where it can be found on the slopes of the hills in San Francisco and the surrounding mountains and valleys.

Marina Madia is an annual herb growing 20 to 50 centimeters tall with bristly, glandular, branched stems. The hairy, glandular leaves are several centimeters long.
Inflorescence-is a group of flower heads. Each Chapter is a spherical involucre of hairy phyllaries covered with bumpy resin glands. It is distributed in upper part with several yellow ray florets a few millimeters long and black tipped disc florets.
The fruit is a shiny black achene without Pappus.
