NY Racing Team is an American professional stock car racing team that competes in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series. The team currently fields the No. 7 Ford Mustang GT part-time for J. J. Yeley. NY Racing Team is owned by John Cohen, who is one of the few African-Americans to have owned a NASCAR team in a major touring series.

Jonathan "John" Cohen was born in 1975, is an African American entrepreneur and owner of the team from new Jersey. Cohen began his business interests in Nightclubs and pubs before forming his race team, Xxxtreme Motorsport in the spring of 2009.
2.1. Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series. 2018–present. (2018–по настоящее время)
On may 21, 2018, it was announced, the team will return to the Cup series Coca-Cola 600 for the first time in 2015, getting a multi-year contract with Steakhouse elite as a sponsor. J. J. Yeley went to the Steakhouse elite No. 23 to the 18-th place at the finish after starting 40th. Next week in Kentucky, they finished 38th. After missing race New Hampshire, the team finished 28th at Pocono after starting 20th. After missing two more events, the team is back in partnership with the award, in Bristol. Yeley brought the car to the No. 7 home in 34th place. The cooperation of the team with the No. 23 team continued after front row motorsports to purchase USSR № 23 of the Charter. Yeley drove the car to 17th place finish at Las Vegas.
New York racing continued its partnership with front row motorsports after purchasing the Charter of BCS. During the autumn Talladega race No. 23 of the team switched manufacturers from Toyota to Ford, before returning to Toyota for the next two races. Yeley remain the driver of the No. 23 Toyota for the rest of the season, and during the final race at HOMESTEAD-Miami Speedway, racing BK works like a Ford Fusion. With BK racing officially closes for the season at the end and is absorbed in the first row motorsports, new York racing in the first row motorsports ended their partnership.
In 2019, new York racing was planned to start in about 7 Steakhouse elite Ford Mustang with Yeley as the driver. They never made an attempt in 2019.
2.2. Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series. 2014
Before the spring race in Richmond in 2014, the team was purchased by the owner points and assets of the recently defunct No. 30 Swan racing, including their race shop in Statesville, North Carolina, hoping to end their recent struggles in qualifying, having a reliable base points. The team used about 30 in Richmond for the NASCAR rules concerning transfer of ownership, but moved back to No. 44 from then.
2.3. Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series. 2012–2014, 2015. (2012-2014, 2015)
The team returned from break and started to run Cup in November 2012. The car was numbered 44 David reutimann was sent to the 2012 AdvoCare 500 at Phoenix international channel-funded with no label watch. Reutimann has finished 40th, pulling out of the race due to vibration.
In 2013, Scott Riggs was hired as the teams regular drivers and the team switched manufacturers from Chevrolet and Ford. The team attempted most of the races in the first half of the season, but after numerous occasions of having to start and Park, combined with poor sponsorship, the team has closed over the year, the offseason, and Riggs moved to RBR enterprises in the camping World truck series.
In 2014 J. Yeley moved to the team following his departure from Tommy Baldwin racing. The team struggled for speed early in the season, failing to qualify for two races and withdrawing from the other two. The team qualified for Richmond after the field was installed, a set of rules because of the rain, but ran four laps down when the engine expired on lap 384. In may, after failing to qualify for the Aarons 499 at city leasing & warehousing Chevrolet SS team 5-hour energy 400 at speed in Phoenix warehouse Chevrolet SS after starting the race in 35th position. However, they once again suffered an engine failure, finishing 41st. Then they missed the Coca-Cola 600, and blew the third engine in Dover. Next week at Pocono, despite cutting the tire the middle of the race, they were able to stay on track and finish the race for the first time ever, finishing in 38th place. Incident-free race next week in Michigan brought the teams best result at that time, the 36th, which they then won again in SONOMA in the 34th. The team then came out from Kentucky in the midst of more personnel shuffling. The team was absent for almost the whole summer, returning to the team "extreme racing" in September for the AAA 400 at Dover, with Timmy hill as a driver. The team spent the race, but lost the engine in the beginning of the event.
A former pilot Tommy Baldwin racing reed Sorenson was signed by the team to compete in the 2015 Daytona 500 with Golden corral sponsorship. Despite the crash on the final lap Sorenson was able to cross the start-finish line to record the teams first lead-lap finish in 32nd place. Travis Kvapil was scheduled to drive the car in Atlanta, but they were forced to retreat after car, truck and trailer were stolen from the hotel Parking lot. Racing car and truck that hauled the trailer was restored. Trailer and spare parts racing remain missing.
After Kvapil failed to qualify for the next three races, combined with Cohen before his civil arrest warrant for not responding to information agenda, the team announced that they wanted to get out of the Martinsville, in order to prepare better for Texas, but they have not returned to the series after. August 3, Jason Terry pleaded guilty to the theft of the team Xtreme trucks and trailers. Since then, over the No. 44 and was later used by Richard petty Motorsports for Brian Scott.
