Buchach-the ruins of a medieval castle, located in Buchach, Ternopil oblast, Ukraine. It was built by the family Buchacki in 14-15 century, in a time when the city was founded. It was rebuilt Potocki-Mobile family in the 16-17 century in the Renaissance style. It was a defensive building, and saw the fight several times. It fell into disrepair after its destruction by the Turks in the late 17th century. During the 19th century, at that time under the Austrian partition, it was partially demolished to make building material.
