The return of the Musketeers is a 1989 film adaptation based on the novel "Twenty years after" by Alexandre Dumas. This is the third Musketeers film directed by Richard Lester, after Three 1973s 1974s Musketeers and the Four Musketeers. Like other two films, the script was written by George MacDonald Fraser.

The character of Mordaunt, son of Milady de winter in the original novel, is replaced by the site miladys daughter, called Justine de winter.

Several actors from the first two played a role in this. Jean-Pierre Cassel, who played Louis XIII in the original films, has a cameo role in "Cyrano de Bergerac".

Rochefort goes into hiding, until he finds Justine, and tells her the names of dartagnan, Porthos, and Aramis, showing her that the Comte de La fere is Athos.

King of England Charles I should be executed, so Queen Anne of Austria sends dartagnan, Athos, Porthos, and Raoul to rescue him. They are trying to save by knocking out the executioner, but Justine takes its place and fulfills Charles.

The Musketeers had several encounters with Justine: in one, Raouls true loyalty showed it to another, Justine and Rochefort tries to kill the Musketeers, blowing up his ship rest of the Musketeers and Rochefort is killed by his own bomb.

Justine attempts to kill king Louis XIV, but is stopped by the Musketeers, and their battle ends with Justin jumping out of the window into the water. Aramis out of the Musketeers, and they force Mazarin to sign up for their various forms, including making Porthos a Baron, Aramis a Bishop, and Raul was put in the guards.
