Katie Walsh in the Los Angeles times wrote a mixed review, criticizing the writing, but praise the camera work and the music of writing "bright, rich cinematography and minimalist guitar score Keatzi Gunmoney are the strengths OzLand, but they cant overcome the meandering story and stilted dialogue. Film Director, screenwriter, producer, shot and edited by Michael Williams takes what could be an interesting idea for a short film and stretches it across 105 minutes. Ideas are not deep enough and the dramatic tension is not enough to support this feature."
