The COVID-19 pandemic in Southeast Asia is part of the ongoing worldwide 2019 coronavirus pandemic caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2. it was confirmed to have spread to Southeast Asia on January 13, 2020, when a 61-year-old woman from Wuhan tested positive in Thailand, making it the first country after China to report such a case. The first death occurred on February 2 involving a 44-year-old Chinese man in the Philippines, also the first outside of China.

By March 24, all States in the region had declared at least one case of the disease. To date, the largest number of cases of the disease has been registered in Indonesia, followed by the Philippines and Singapore. As for the number of fatalities, Indonesia ranks first, while the Philippines and Malaysia are second and third, respectively.
