Madge Brigid Frances Biggs was a librarian and politician in the Falkland Islands. In 1950, she became the first woman to serve on the Legislative Council.

Biggs was born in Marmont row, Stanley, in July 1902, the son of Mary and Vincent Biggs, a ship carpenter who worked for the Falkland Islands company. One of nine children, she attended school in St. Marys. She had trained as a teacher before becoming a government librarian, a position she had held for almost half a century. She also trained to become the first radiologist on the Islands, and worked at the king Edward VII memorial hospital for nine years. Later, after her brothers death, she took over the family sweet shop and ran it until she sold it to the Falkland Islands company in 1982.
At the beginning of world war II, she became Treasurer of the Falkland Islands red cross Society. During the war, she organized a canteen for British troops stationed on the Islands. She was awarded an MBE in the 1949 birthday honours. The following year, she was appointed to the Legislative Council, becoming its first female member. She remained a member of the club for two years.
Biggs has only left the Falkland Islands twice in her life: once to Montevideo during world war II to buy glasses, and once to the United Kingdom for medical treatment at the end of her life. She died in September 1985.
